Atlas Editions Movie Star Cards were released in 1993 through mail subscription only and they were perhaps available in 1994 as well but all cards are copyright 1993, Edito-Service S.A. - Printed in the USA.  The cards measure 7 x 5 3/4 inches (18 x 14.5 cm) and they are printed on glossy card stock and they are all in BLACK and WHITE.  All photographs are from the John Kobal collection, the legendary Hollywood photographer.  The cards have 2 holes on the left side of each card, as these cards originally were to be collected in a binder that was supplied from Atlas with the subscription's introductory package.  The card backs include a detailed history of the featured actor/actress including Date and Place of birth, a major films filmography, awards and more.  These cards are all in ENGLISH and they are in NEAR MINT to MINT condition. These subscription cards were delivered to buyers by mail in "decks" sent every few weeks.  The buyer could then remit payment which would continue the subscription.  There are 31 decks with 20 cards in each deck for a total of 620 cards in the set.  Cards are numbered on the back D3 055 dd-nn (dd= Deck Number 01 to 31 and cc= Card number 01 to 20 in each deck).
